Free anything, in this economy, is pretty much unheard of. But Don’t Runaway, a new sandwich pop-up in Joo Chiat, is offering just that. You can redeem one free sandwich each week, from Friday to Sunday, starting at 11:30am. All you have to do is download their app, register, and flash the QR code to score a sandwich and a can of Coke.
Over the next four weeks, their sandwich offerings will rotate, with one “hero” sandwich starring each week. Highlights include Mortadel-lah, featuring mortadella ham, stracciatella cream cheese, house-made salsa, and a zesty yuzukosho, and Beef Me Up: a thick stack of yakiniku brisket accompanied by a house-made chilli oil, layered with creamy peanut butter.
