Gyusei Gyukatsu Wagyu Steakhouse is a new restaurant along North Bridge Road, a short walk from Lavender MRT Station. Here you’ll find Singapore’s first halal A5 Wagyu gyukatsu!
You won’t go wrong with the A5 Wagyu Ribeye Gyukatsu Set ($69++), where the katsu is charcoal-smoked immediately after it’s deep-fried, resulting in a deep and smoky flavour profile. You get to grill your beef cutlet on the provided hot stone grill to your preferred doneness. We found each piece satisfyingly buttery with a velvety finish, pairing well with the crispy breadcrumb layer.

2. Lotteria
ICYMI: Famous Korean fast food chain Lotteria has opened in Singapore, at Jewel Changi Airport! This marks the brand’s seventh overseas outlet. It was founded in 1972 in Japan by a Korean entrepreneur, before expanding to Seoul in 1979.
Fans can expect their signature burgers, including the Mozzarella Tomato Basil Burger ($12.50), where a beef patty is joined by fresh lettuce, a fried mozzarella patty, and a spread of mayo, and their secret burger sauce, all between two toasted mozzarella buns. For seafood fans, we recommend their Ria’s Shrimp Burger ($7.20), which features a hefty shrimp patty, topped with crispy lettuce and a load of tartar and Thousand Island sauce. If you frequent Funan Mall, you may have come across RUXU, a new cafe with fresh bakes and desserts. This China-based bakery, which has outlets in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, recently opened its first overseas branch in Singapore!
There are nearly 30 varieties of bread and dessert bowls to choose from, so those with a sweet tooth will be spoiled for choice. A must-try is the Caramel Custard Tart ($2.80): flaky puff pastry filled with rich egg custard and a layer of caramel in the centre. Alternatively, go for the Cacao Rich Dark Chocolate Ganache Bun ($3.50), a soft bun generously piped with smooth chocolate ganache. You can also order one of their Chinese dessert bowls to share—the Mochi & Black Sesame Paste Coconut Ice Cream Scoop ($6.80) is a popular choice.

Weave at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has a new addition: DRIM Gold, a new Korean restaurant with cave-inspired interiors. Run by the same team behind D’RIM Korean Steak House, diners can expect a wide variety of seafood dishes, including Oyster Kimchi, Soy-Marinated Raw Shrimp, and Korean Traditional Beef Tartare. Prices are yet to be revealed.
You can also have a premium Korean BBQ experience here, with meat cuts such as Rare Hanwoo Beef and Jeju Black Pork, both known for their excellent marbling and flavour. Pair your meats with the Buckwheat Cold Noodle with Perilla Oil, where buckwheat noodles are tossed in a nutty and fragrant perilla seed sauce.

Cat Bite Club, which ranked 44th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list in 2025, has unveiled a new menu divided into four categories: Agave, Rice, Classics, and House Faves. Start with the refreshing Gourdy Fizz ($26++), a mix of Ginjo sake, amaro, papaya shrub, salted orange, and soda. Then, try something more adventurous—Get The MSG? ($26++) is a new addition featuring chilli oil-washed mezcal, Szechuan peppercorn and tomato cordial, peach, and beer.

Our favourite tipple of the night was Straight Outta Scallion ($26++), a bold yet balanced blend of Tumugi Koji spirit, black garlic, scallion oil, green walnut, lime bitters, and whiskey liqueur. Packed with umami, this distinctive concoction was the perfect way to end the night.

This March, pinkies up at Ginger.Lily’s latest high tea, A Botanical Afternoon Tea: From Root to Bloom. Priced at $65++ per person, the nature-inspired experience marks the restaurant’s fifth chapter in its storybook-themed afternoon tea series. The set is presented in a charming custom case created in collaboration with JOJOMAMA, a social enterprise.

The high tea comprises 14 items, offering a balanced mix of savoury and sweet bites. Savoury highlights include the Cured Trout Crepe layered with shichimi cream, Shrimp Toast with sriracha mayo, and Fungi Gyoza, finished with nutty Président Comté and local mushrooms in a béchamel sauce. The dessert selection is just as impressive, featuring the Matcha Swan with matcha chantilly, pistachio praline, and fresh raspberries, as well as the Japanese Strawberry and Dill, complete with citrus sponge and dill pearls, among other treats.

7. Sio Pasta

If you love fresh pasta as much as we do, you’ll want to hear this. Sio Pasta officially opens at Raffles City on 26 March 2026, serving handmade pasta at affordable prices. The new pasta bar is helmed by renowned Japanese chef Shusaku Toba, best known for his work at the Michelin-approved Italian restaurant sio Aoyama in Tokyo.

Expect over 10 pasta dishes on the menu, with many showcasing Chef Toba’s Japanese influences. One highlight is the Japanese Garlic Carbonara with Fried Egg, Cheese, and Salted Kelp ($13.80), an inventive take on the classic Italian favourite. The brand is best known for its Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, crafted by infusing Hengzhou jasmine blossoms into high-mountain tea through a meticulous seven-step scenting process. You can enjoy this signature brew as the Snowy Jasmine, which features the same fragrant tea topped with the brand’s signature Jasmine Whipped Cream. Other interesting concoctions include the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut, which combines coconut water with pistachio cheese, and the Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea.

There’s a new 24-hour snack store at Jurong Point, located near Boon Lay MRT Station. Xtra Lab at FairPrice Xtra Jurong Point features a rotating lineup of international snacks, with its debut “Ba Ba Dian” edition spotlighting a wide selection of popular Chinese F&B brands, some of which are exclusive to the store.
Night owls can also check out the instant noodle wall, perfect for a midnight supper fix. The store is stocked with cult favourites, including Kang Shi Fu Instant Noodles in Spicy Noodle ($2.80) and Braised Beef Noodle ($3) flavours. Viral Chinese dessert chain Yeah Gelato has set up shop at Tampines Mall! The popular Beijing brand, which boasts over 168 outlets across China, is known for its creamy, aesthetic-looking gelato. They currently have three other stores in Singapore: Plaza Singapura, Parkway Parade and IMM.
If it’s your first visit to Yeah Gelato, go for their best-selling Pistachio ($9.80), studded with crushed pistachio nuts for added texture and flavour.
