It’s always nice when restaurants chip in to help during this uncertain period. Local ramen chain, Takagi Ramen, is offering a full-sized Chashu Don at $2.The rice bowl comes with two pieces of pork chashu that are lashed with teriyaki sauce, creamy egg mayo, spring onions, and white rice. Â

Free delivery is applicable for orders over $50 on the restaurant’s website, but diners are also welcomed to dapao their meal at four of the Takagi Ramen stalls islandwide.Â
Those looking to avoid the crowd can also arrange for pickup at the restaurant. All they need to do is to indicate on the restaurant’s ordering platform. Â

While the chashu don might look a little modest in appearance, it’s well balanced with protein and carbohydrates, making for a nourishing meal that would fill up any hungry belly.
Takagi Ramen has been actively doing community services during this period. At the launch of the new chashu don in early April, they delivered 2,000 packets of chashu don to various charity organisations. Some packets were even sponsored by their customers as well.Â
On top of that, the restaurant also recently donated 5,000 packets of halal food to the underprivileged during the Hari Raya season.

The restaurant has plenty of exciting promotions, and they’ve just recently announced a tantanmen and takoyaki set that’s going for $17.40. This value-for-money feast features two bowls of peanutty tatanmen and twelve pieces of takoyaki.
