Sushi Gelato at Three Point Two
Gelato specialist Three Point Two may have first caught our attention for their pretty pink-and-blue interiors and durian desserts, but they’ve now come up with a most unique Sushi Gelato! This is the second instalment in their Twelve Surprises 2022 series, where they’ll launch surprising creations for each month of the year.

Look forward to Lobster, Salmon, Inari, and Tamago on your Sushi Gelato platter, with a plate of “wasabi” in soya sauce on the side! It’s only sold as a set, priced at $11.90. Do also note that it’s available for a limited time only, from 16 February till 20 March 2022.
Just in case you’re thinking that your Sushi Gelato is going to taste like the real thing, they don’t. Instead, you’ll be getting sorbets in flavours such as watermelon, yuzu, mango, and coconut, alongside other gelato flavours! so while it looks like you’re eating sushi, it promises to be a sugar rush to the end—perfect if you have a seriously sweet tooth.

Since we dropped by Three Point Two, the cafe has added Crackling Gelato Buns ($4) to the menu, which sees craquelin-topped choux puffs paired with a gelato scoop of your choice.
On our visit to Three Point Two, we tried their Buttermilk Waffle ($5.50), topped with double scoops ($7.50) of Lychee Rose and Roasted Pistachio—premium flavours that required a top-up of $1.

We found the waffles to have airy interiors, but lacking a crisp crust. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the duo of gelato we had.
If you didn’t know, Three Point Two is a sister brand of durian wholesaler Pang Zi Durian, so don’t leave without trying their D24 Pahang Highland Durian Mochi ($10 for four pieces)!
For savoury treats in Kampong Bahru, drop by Kream & Kensho to enjoy ikura pasta and other delights. Otherwise, Dolc Patisserie has an array of IG-worthy cakes that you can try, too.
