Good news for salted egg fans: BreadTalk has brought back their classic Golden Lava Croissant (price TBD). The fan-favourite item was relaunched on 5 October 2023, and is now available at all BreadTalk outlets islandwide.

If you missed out on the salted egg yolk croissant craze before, here’s your opportunity to indulge in this beloved treat! In case you didn’t know, this mini croissant is generously filled with salted egg molten lava custard, and encased within buttery, flaky layers of laminated dough pastry. We’re not sure how long this bake will be back for, so make sure you get your hands on it before it’s taken off the menu!

Along with the Golden Lava Croissant, BreadTalk has also reintroduced another old favourite—the Bacon & Cheese Bun (price TBD). True to its name, this bun is topped with melted cheddar, gouda, and mozzarella cheese, and complemented by crispy bacon strips. It’s also dressed in Thousand Island sauce for added richness.

In other BreadTalk-related news, the popular brand had previously rolled out
mala pot buns that look like legit hotpots earlier this year for CNY. While this isn’t available at the moment, we’re crossing our fingers that they’ll make a comeback next year.
