If you’ve ever been torn between Korean and Italian food, Osteria Da Su is here to settle that conundrum. The Italian restaurant incorporates Korean flavours into its recipes, and will be opening its doors on 23 October 2026 along Telok Ayer Street.
Born in Korea, Chef Suji Park spent nearly a decade honing her culinary skills in Italy. Her passion for Italian cuisine shines through in her dishes, which also incorporate Korean influences that pay homage to her roots. Inspired by Italy’s laid-back dining culture, she envisioned the restaurant as a casual, welcoming space where diners can enjoy affordable Italian fare.

The menu currently consists of 25 items that highlight Italian cooking techniques while featuring Korean flavours and ingredients. Starting with appetisers, highlights include the Zucchini Bruschetta ($12++), a classic Italian dish with zucchini inspired by Korean banchan or side dishes. There’s also Insalata Condiglione ($18++), a traditional Italian vegetable salad with a Korean soy-marinated egg.

On to the mains, the Tortelli Di Galbi Jjim ($30++) swaps out the classic meat filling of a traditional Italian tortelli with Korean braised pork, while the Farfalle All’Amatriciana ($24++) has gochujang bulgogi sauce brushed on the guanciale chips, finished with a pecorino cream.
The chef’s pick, however, is the Spaghetti Alle Vongole ($28++), which is said to best showcase the Korean-Italian concept with the addition of asari clams, Korean parsley and more.

Finally, you can expect desserts such as a Salame Di Cioccolato ($10++), inspired by Chef Suji’s Italian neighbours, and a Dalgona Tiramisu ($14++). If dalgona sounds familiar, that’s because the traditional Korean candy was featured in the Netflix hit series, Squid Game.

The interior stays on theme, blending the minimalist aesthetic of contemporary Korean design with the warm tones of a classic Italian osteria.
