New bubble tea shops in Singapore
Bubble tea has drastically evolved from being simple tea blends with tapioca pearls sold by your friendly neighbourhood aunties. Today, we have a variety of shops offering bizarre concoctions incorporating all manner of ingredients.
From the tame aiyu and konjac jellies to the bewildering cheese and apple vinegar, bubble tea has come a long way from their humble beginnings. This year alone, we have seen at least 24 new bubble tea shops opening in Singapore, each boasting unique products that are as intriguing as they are perfect thirst quenchers.
