Peppered with malls, there is no shortage of City Hall food places to choose from. Look below for our round-up of food gems to check out when in the area.

1. The Masses

the-masses-steak-tartare

The Masses is a popular French-Asian restaurant that recently moved to Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski. We recommend starting with the Steak Tartare ($26.90++), a gorgeous combination of Wagyu beef, wasabi, mustard, sour cream, charred onion, and pickled chye sim. It’s finished with caviar, fried garlic chips, and fried shallot chips, and paired with some kuih loyang, better known as rose crackers, on the side. Then dig into their Dug Leg Confit ($24.90++), an incredibly delicious, wok hei-infused kway teow topped with peas, mushrooms, house-cured egg yolk, and a confit duck leg.
